We are having a troop meeting tomorrow night, December 14th. Regular time, 7:00-8:30 p.m. This is a troop gift exchange. Please bring a wrapped gift not more than $15 to the meeting. The scouts have activities planned and a game to exchange the gifts. Full uniform of course since it is still a meeting. Should be great fun! Hope everyone can make this social event for the scouts.

Troop Meeting Announcement - Monday 12/7 @ 7pm
Good evening! I hope all Troop 700 families had an enjoyable weekend.
The PLC met this afternoon and developed their agenda for Monday night's meeting. We will work on getting these agendas finalized more in advance. The patrol leaders understand they need to print these agendas and have it with them at each meeting so everyone better understands their roles and responsibilities. It looks like the boys have an interesting meeting planned!
- Please note that Monday December 7 is the deadline for signing up for the Wilderness Survival Campout December 11.
- Bring $9 to pay for the merit badge college if you are attending January 9 and 23.
- Bring $15 to pay for the Trout Tournament on January 16. This is for the tournament only and does not cover meals.
- Have a look at the camping checklist and plan on cold and wet weather this weekend! Polypropylene layers and rain gear are a must! A sleeping bag liner is a great idea as well. Warm winter hats and gloves are a must. There is no excuse for anyone getting sick. BE PREPARED.
- If you have not paid for rechartering yet, this money must get turned in immediately. Please refer to previous emails regarding the rechartering info.
- As always, the full Class A uniform is expected to be worn for every troop meeting and electronics are to be put away.
We have a committee meeting tomorrow from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., while the boys are doing their pre-planning for the upcoming campout. Bill Deters will be taking over for me and we have a few things on the agenda:
- coordination for the Wilderness Campout, and Trout fishing campout
- plan to accomodate new scouts (what if we get 15 to 20?)
